The universe has meaning because of energy but energy itself has no attachments meaning it is continuously changing from one form to other. A being also exists because of soul but the soul is detached from the interactions of the being with the physical world.

The physical world is a form of the unmanifest electromagnetic wave energy, the qualities of the physical world(perceived by senses in the form of energy exchanges as color,smell,taste etc) are not in that unmanifested electromagnetic wave energy meaning, electromagnetic radiation is basis of physical world but it has no relation with the qualities of the matter things like color taste smell etc. When a being, while living in the universe, while performing all actions(work), remains detached from actions(work), then he comes to know Rajvidya Rajguhya(precious knowledge of the photon).

At the end of Kalpa(1 energy day), all the physical matter disintegrates to electromagnetic radiation (imperceivable by senses). They are born again(physical world comes into existence) at the beginning of the day.

By the 3 energy exchange forms, I (Krishna as the narrator) create again and again the physical world and the beings bound by actions, who are dependent on their own physical nature. Indifferent and unattached in the creation, maintenance and destruction of the physical world, electromagnetic wave energy which makes up the matter is not bound by their actions/work/karma.

Energy is the creator of the universe, the one who regulates the fruits of the actions of the living beings (Krishna sets the state of a beings' soul after death,if it is liberated and assimilates with electromagnetic radiation in universe or it is bound in another being as soul). Energy is the knowable, the knowledge of which purifies everyone.

Energy is the truth(as free electromagnetic form) and illusion(as physical matter). Reason is the truth(to gain knowledge about the how matter was made), Action/work is illusion(3 forms of energy exchanges in physical world); present is the reality, past and future are unreal.

Those yogis who work selflessly knowing about energy wisdom and fulfill their duties, god (Krishna,as narrator,representative of all energy,) provides them with the means of sustenance. It is only the wisdom of energy who takes care of the yogyukts.(always engaged in yog;selfless work).

Even a miscreant who worships energy(seeks knowledge about energy and does work selflessly as energy matter creation happens in nature) with utmost devotion, then he quickly becomes a virtuous soul and attains permanent peace. A devotee of energy certainly never perishes.
