जो किसी से द्वेष नहीं करता, जो कोई इच्छा नहीं रखता, जो सुख-दुख लाभ-हानि जय-पराजय राग-द्वेष द्वन्दों से मुक्त है, वह अनायास ही कर्मबंधन से मुक्त है |
One who does not hate anyone, who does not have any desire, who is free from the dualities of happiness and sorrow, gain and loss, victory and defeat, attachment and hatred, he is naturally free from the bondage of karma(work).
5-08
योगयुक्त तत्ववेता को अनुभव होता है आत्मा कुछ नहीं करता | देखने सुनने स्पर्श सूंघने खाने चलने सोने सांस लेने छोड़ने बोलने मल मूत् र विसर्जन हाथों से पदार्थ ग्रहण करने में पलकें खोल झपकने में इंद्रियां अपने विषयों में व्यवहार कर रही हैं |आत्मा सब से निसंग है |
A yogic philosopher experiences that the soul does nothing. In seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, eating, walking, sleeping, exhaling, speaking, excreting excreta, urine, taking substances with the hands, opening the eyelids, blinking, the senses/other organs are behaving as per their interactions with the outside world (meaning energy is being exchanged among the 3 forms). The soul is separate from all.

कर्मयोगी 'मैं कर्म करता हूं' अहंकार बुद्धि का त्याग करके ममत्ववर्जित केवल शरीर,मन,बुद्धि से और केवल इंद्रियों से भी आसक्तिरहित होकर आत्मशुद्धि के लिए कर्म करता है |
Karmayogi abandons the ego-intellect 'I do the work' and works for soul-purification(pure soul is one whose mind is steady,stable,calm in all situations,is not biased towards anything,hence the soul does not experience agitations to worldly interactions and is in bliss) by being free from attachment to the body, mind, intellect and senses.

परमात्मा जीवलोक के कर्मों की सृष्टि नहीं करता,न कर्तापन भाव (अभिमान) की करता है ना कर्मों के साथ फल संबंध बनाता है | जीव की प्रकृति स्वभाव ही सब करती है |
God i.e. total energy in universe, does not create the actions(work) of the living beings, does not create the sense of doership (pride), nor does it have any relationship with its actions. The physical nature(mind,body) of the being does the work(exchange of energies rom one form to another).

मन साम्यावस्था में स्थित होने पर मनुष्य जन्म-मरण जीत लेता है | साम्यबुद्धि ब्रह्मा के समान निर्दोष और सम रहता है | ब्रह्मास्थिति ही संसार जय है |आत्मस्वरूपी ब्रह्मा अकर्ता है, सब खेल प्रकृति के विकारों का है, इस ज्ञान के अनुरूप जो व्यवहार करता है, वह ब्रह्मास्थ हो जाता है ,मुक्त हो जाता है |वह अक्षय सुख पाता है |
Person conquers birth and death when the mind is situated in equilibrium. Equal-mindedness(no bias in joy-sorrow,win-loss,profit-loss,good-evil,other dualities) is considered pure and steady. This state is victory over worldly objects/desires.Soul is non-doer, all the work is of nature's energy exchanges, one who behaves according to this knowledge, he becomes Brahmastha(in unison with the nature of energy), becomes free.He gets eternal happiness.

जो परमात्मा को सभी यज्ञ व तपस्याओं का भोक्ता सभी प्राणियों को मित्र अनुभव करता है ,वही शांति पाता है |
One who does all work/penances with devotion to the supreme soul(sum total of energy in the universe, which Krishna,the narrator, refers to himself) and considers himself the friend of all living beings, he attains peace.
